Occupational Health and Safety

The Company aims to prevent occupational accidents by creating a safe working environment, to increase employee well-being by providing good physical and psychological conditions, and to maintain work-life balance. In this context, the company continues its continuous improvement efforts with an OHS team consisting of experts. WAT carries out studies to ensure compliance with the ISO 45001 standard while communicating its OHS policies to employees. These policies aim to ensure that all employees, contractors and operation-controlled initiatives work in accordance with OHS commitments. It also integrates Koç Holding's sustainable and profitable growth approach into all business processes in line with the United Nations Global Compact.

 

Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion

WAT adopts diverse perspectives to foster innovation and aims to meet customer needs. In line with the 2030 gender equality targets, the company develops projects and initiatives that include women. WAT requires a 50% gender balance in recruitment and follows Koç Holding's gender equality principles. Additionally, as a member of UN Women's Unstereotype Alliance, WAT fights against harmful stereotypes and supports positive change in the advertising industry. In pursuit of its sustainability goals, WAT takes into account Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and works to build a sustainable future by enhancing its social contributions.

 
Women's Workforce Transformation Project

WAT’s Women's Workforce Transformation Project aims to support the greater inclusion of women in the workforce. The project provides suitable working conditions, training, opportunities, and events for female employees. It focuses on enhancing women's skills, boosting their confidence, and ensuring their satisfaction. The project promotes gender equality and helps women achieve economic independence. Ensuring female employment is one of the company's core strategies, and the project covers areas such as process design, ergonomics, skill development, and sustainability.

Talent Management

WAT adopts a continuously developing approach to employee engagement and talent management. The company organizes practices with the “Good Practice Guide” it has prepared to improve the employee experience and uses it as a strategic resource. It offers a wide range of projects from socializing areas to work clothes, career talks to training programs. It plans actions and activities according to the results of surveys organized by taking into account the suggestions of employees.

Employees' sense of belonging is strengthened through “Welcome Packages” for new recruits and interns and events on special occasions. The Company takes various initiatives to improve work experiences by recognizing the role of leaders.
